Scrapbook page

Now I have always wanted to get into scrapbooking however found it too time consuming with working and studying as well and so always stuck to cards...
Until I was persuaded to try did scrapping ; I purchased Serif Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 and there was no stopping me!  Have now upgraded to Serif Craft Artist and thought I may also post scrapbook pages on here, so here is one that I have recently made...

This is me and my Dad, when I was a baby and when I got married last year......

Mens Cards

Why are men's cards so hard to make?
Cards for women are so easy, especially as I am such a girly girl lol...
Anyway made these two cards with Sugar Nellie's Catch a big fish.
Two different colour ways but I think they work well..

Housemouse addiction

I think I may have a housemouse addiction as there is nothing I like more at the moment than sitting in my craft room, listening to some music and cutting out the decoupage! They are just so addictive.

Here are a couple of cards that I have made for valentines day using the house mouse decoupage.
The first is an 8x8 card using decoupage from the Two of Us collection...

This second card is an A5 card also using decoupage from the Two of Us Collection.

New year, new resolution

Ok so have decided that this is the year to get to grips with blogging and have found the old blog that I started ages ago!!!

Apologies if things don't go according to plan as I am still learning lol....

I made the following card for my sister and her husband's anniversary from one of the new stamps at Lili of the valley. Thought I would have a go at using distress inks and although I dont thing it looks that great close up I am pleased with the finished product....
Well that didnt really go according to plan as the photos should be at the bottom and they are in the wrong order!! Oh well looks like I have a lot to learn!#
Thanks for reading
Catherine

New Year, new year!

Hi everyone, well am enjoying my bit of time off over New Year...

Am also enjoying having some time to make cards and try some new things, think I may be converted to stamping.... never thought I would say that but am loving it!!!!

Here are some more that I have made lately...

Card nade using a Penny Black image, some coredinations card, cuttlebugged and sanded and some ribbon and prima flowers....
I love the colours on this card, never thought I would like orange, but I think it looks great, perhaps a little busy but never mind, I'm still learning after all... Made with a Sarah Kay image, pink petticoat and daisy papers as well as coredinations cardstock cuttlebugged and sanded. Also used a sentiment from a QVC pack....

I love the simplicity of this card with the gingham ribbon (from Hobbycraft) and the Coredinations cardstock cuttlebugged and sanded. Penny Black image... Might save this one for my other half....

I love the girliness of this card. Used a Penny Black image, Joy! Crafts backing paper, coredinations cardstock cuttlebugged and sanded, with some ribbon and buttons. First time I have used buttons on my cards so quite pleased with the result!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!
